About E-a-poo's
E-a-poo’s® has been pioneering the resurrection of cloth diapers on a local, national and international front for 10 years. We are not a retailer, we are a manufacturer. We know every stitch in our items and each item is carefully made with detail in mind.
Our Mission: E-a-poo's® advocates for environmental responsibility. We place focus on the importance and reduction of chemicals in our personal and family environments through alternative product choices. We support fair trade, fine craft, fine art, bringing forth good works through selected charity with our crafted fiber art.
Mary Beth Karchella-MacCumbee is a cloth diapering mother to three and fiber artist to many. Her cloth diapering experience began in 1989 with the arrival of her first child. Mary Beth is a past member of The Real Diaper Association and The Real Diaper Industry Association, spending weekends in the public introducing the benefits of cloth choices to the venue audiences. On a creative level she continues to be enriched as a member of The Fiber Arts Guild of Pittsburgh and a fine arts student with concentrations in studio arts & studies in deaf culture and ASL. With an approach to voluntary simplicity she brings forth useful, reusable items made from her original patterns. Mary Beth has been recently sited for the presentation of an educational study, of user satisfaction of cloth menstrual pads. This study was presented at the 2011 International 19th Biennial Society for Menstrual Cycle Research Conference in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.
